KAT MOFOKENG
OUR FOUNDER
Katleho Mofokeng, also known as Kat, is a professional Actor, Model, Producer, and Production Manager. He began his career in the Media Production Industry on camera and later transitioned to behind-the-scenes roles.
For over a decade, Kat has modelled for local brands such as MRP and Jockey and has walked the runway for David Tlale.
Five years into his modelling career, Kat ventured into acting. He made his television debut in a featured role on e.tv’s ‘Imbewu: The Seed’ and subsequently secured the role of Wandile on ‘Uzalo’ during its record-breaking year, with 10.2 million viewers and becoming the most-watched soap opera on South African television at the time.
Kat then expanded his expertise to become a Producer and Production Manager, overseeing more than 100 productions ranging from photoshoots to TV commercials. Through this experience, he has gained extensive knowledge of the industry and continues to learn as it evolves. ‘OFF THE RAMP’ is his initiative to aid the Media Production Industry in adapting to the technological era, aiming to unite and streamline the industry for greater ease and efficiency.
